PRICING AND BILLING

Individual Therapy Services:

Out-of-Network/Private Pay Sessions are 50 minutes in length. Each 50-minute individual session is 180.00.

In-Network Aetna Sessions are either 45-minutes or 53-minutes in length, depending on the issue presented.

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. The first session will include reviewing your intake assessment and identifying your current goals. All late cancellations will be billed the full session fee either through private pay or insurance pay.

For EMDR, I offer 50-minute or 90-minute sessions ongoing, as well as 2-hour intensives for individuals who may want concurrent brief EMDR treatment and/or have specific traumas or incidents they would like to address. Intensives are offered only on Fridays, some evenings, and on weekends.

EMDR 90-minute session fee: 250.00

EMDR 2-hour intensive: 325.00

I use Ivy Pay, which allows you to directly input your debit or credit card information and allow for seamless and stress-free payment processing.

I am solely in-network with Aetna. Please note this does not include Aetna EAP services. For all other insurance, I am an out-of-network provider and provide monthly superbills upon request. Please contact your insurance company directly to inquire about their out-of-network policy. Many clients have out of network benefits and will receive a portion of counseling fees reimbursed to them from their insurance companies. If this the case, clients pay my full rate and then send the superbill to their insurance company to receive reimbursement directly from them.  I provide superbills once per month at the end of the month.

In the event insurance denies your request, it is solely the responsibility of the client to work on getting reimbursed.

The No Surprises Act
Under the new law (the No Surprises Act) that went into effect on January 1st, 2022, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
